PRICES & TOUR CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS:A deposit of $200.00 per person is required ten days after a reservation is made. No reservation is considered confirmed until a $200.00 deposit is received by Omega Tours Travel Co. Final payment must received no later than 45 days prior to the departure date from New York.

LATE BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS:Bookings made within 21 days of the departure date must be paid in full by certified or chair’s check, and will be charged a LATE FEE of $50.00 per person to cover communication expenses and express shipping of travel documents.

CHANGES IN BOOKINGS:Any changes made in a booking after the deposit or the final payment has been received by OMEGA, TOURS CO., and is more than 45 days prior to departure will incur a $25.00 charge per person. Changes made within 44 days of departure, and before tour documents are issued will incur a $50.00 charge per person. Changes made after tour documents are issued are subject to applicable cancellation penalties.

CANCELLATION BEFORE DEPARTURE: Cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing by OMEGA TOURS CO. The cancellation fees are as follows:

45 days prior to departure: $50

44 to 15 days prior, 25% of total cost

15 to 8 days prior: 50% of total cost

7 days and less prior: 100% of total cost

NO REFUND POLICY AFTER DEPARTURE:Once the tour commences NO REFUND will be made for unused features or voluntary modifications made by the tour participants.

INSURANCE:Trip cancellation/ interruption, baggage, health and accident insurance is available from OMEGA TOURS CO. or from your travel agent. This is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

OPERATOR – PARTICIPANT CONTRACT:After the reservation is made by phone or mail, a contract and invoice will be mailed to you to be signed with your signature. This contract includes the conditions of the tour and is an agreement between you, the participants and the operator, OMEGA TOURS CO.

FLIGHTS:Airfare is not included in our packages. International and domestic flights can be booked through the travel agent, or through OMEGA TOURS CO. at the current rates.

BAGGAGE:The less you bring with you, the better. We recommend that you take along one suit case per person, plus a small overnight bag. On land, due to limited motor coach capacity, we request that only one bag per person may be carried on motor coaches. If additional baggage is carried (other than an overnight bag) there is a supplementary charge of $2.00 per additional suitcase. For these tours that include domestic flights, only one suitcase per person will be allowed. Additional baggage charges are according to airline tariffs. Baggage is carried at carrier’s risk, so therefore we strongly recommend baggage insurance.

PORTAGE:Portage of only one suitcase per person is provided on our tours. However you should know that strict security precautions in Turkey, especially through customs inspections points, demand that you carry all your personal luggage to the customs official. This procedure is seriously enforced in Turkey and there are no exceptions to the rules. Therefore we ask that you bring with you only a small carry on piece and one suitcase. You should be able to carry both pieces on your own, when necessary. These procedures will only be in customs and security areas such at ports and airports. Beyond these areas, our staff will be waiting to assist you.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS:United States citizens traveling to Turkey are required to bring a valid passport, and a visitors visa (costing $ 40.00 US.), that can be purchased at the Turkish consulate in United States, or upon arrival at the Turkish border. It is suggested that all participants regardless of the country passport they hold, confirm with the appropriate consulates to determine if a visa is required.

PRICES IN THIS BROCHURE:All prices in this brochure are based on air base rates, land rates and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing, and include the cost of tour operator planning, operation, and mark-up. Tour prices do not include airport taxes, port taxes, tips to guides and drivers, laundry charges, room service charges and items of a personal nature. All prices are subject to changes without notice prior to departure, due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances. In the case of computer or human billing error we reserve the right to re invoice participants with corrected billing.

RESPONSIBILITY:Omega Tours & Cruises Coand/or their cooperating selling agents and/or their supplier of services offer these tours for sale only on the express understanding that they themselves do not perform or in anyway assume liability for the performance of the individual components (transfers, hotels, flights, cars motor coaches, etc…) of these tours and act only to combine these components into a single unit of sale for the convenience of the general public. Therefore Omega Tours & Cruises Co.is not responsible either directly or indirectly for any loss, accident, or injury which may result from any act, omission, negligence in, or responsible for performing or providing these component services. The transportation companies concerned take no responsibility for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not aboard their conveyances. The passage contract issued by the transportation company shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation company and the passenger. As well, additional expenses incurred as a result of delay, change of schedules, illness, weather, strikes, quarantine, government requisition of hotel space, or any other reasons beyond the control of the tour operator or travel agent.

BROCHURE PRINTING DISCLAIMER:The tour operator is not responsible for typographical or printing errors.

HOLIDAYS:During local or national holidays abroad, certain facilities such as museums, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited.

SUBSTITUTIONS:We reserve the right in our discretion to substitute carrier, aircraft, and charter flights for scheduled flight, cruise line, entertainment, hosts, entertainers, hotels, restaurants, party and banquet locations, or other accommodations. We also reserve the right under a good reason to cancel any scheduled tour. In such event, we won’t take responsibility for you having chosen to purchase a non-refundable airfare.

SHIP SUBSTITUTIONS & ITINERARY CHANGES:Cruise lines reserve the right to substitute ships on any cruise, even at the last minute, based on the decisions made by their senior management staff. Itinerary changes on any cruise are the sole responsibility of the cruise line, and they may be implemented at the last minute based on factors determined by existing weather or traffic conditions.Omega Tours & Cruises Co.as the tour operator can not take any responsibility for ship substitutions or itinerary changes decided by a cruise line.

CRUISE SHARE SUPPLEMENT:Single supplements are offered on all of our tours. For passengers traveling on their own, with packages including a cruise, we offer the least expensive option of a “Cruise share”. Single passengers will occupy a single room during the land portion of the tour; and will share a cabin on the cruise with another passenger of the same sex. Cruise shares are available for smoking or non smoking passengers.

HANDICAPPED & ELDERLY PASSENGERS:Tour participants who require any form of assistance must be accompanied by a helper who is capable of and totally responsible for providing such assistance. Because of space limitations, wheelchairs and walkers can not be carried on motor coaches.

TIPPING:On land, tips are not included in any of the tour packages, and are left at the discretion of each participant. While cruising, passengers that wish to express their appreciation should give their gratuities to the CHIEF STEWARD at the end of the cruise. In turn, they are distributed to the service personal in accordance to established practice. Recommendations from the cruise lines are $7.00 – $8.00 per person per day.

CURRENCY:Before your departure it is not necessary to exchange your money into Euro or Turkish Lira. Banks are available at the airport and offer the current exchange rate.

TOUR DOCUMENTS:Final documents are mailed, provided that full payment and a signed contract has been received two weeks prior to the departure date.

AIR CONDITIONING:Please be advised that foreign air conditioning systems in public places, hotels, and motor coaches are not up to American standards.

ACCEPTANCE:Payment of deposit or full payment shall be deemed as consent by the passenger to the above conditions.
