You will experience the atmosphere and mystery of the era of the Sultans. Your trip will take you on a visit of two of the most remarkable sites that bear evidence of the Ottoman Empire. It is famous for the two minarets that rise up from the corners of the Avlu, the enormous enclosed courtyard. Your second stop will be Topkapi Palace built on the site of an ancient olive grove on the first hill, at the point in which the Bosporus, having merged with the Golden Horn, flows into the Sea of Marmara. The Palace, which was built by order of Mohammed II, was the home of the Sultans up until 1853. It was only in 1924 that the Palace, abandoned and almost in state of ruin, was transformed into a Museum. Your guide will accompany you into the four Halls of the Imperial Treasury, the richest and most wealthy collection in the whole world.
